Paul Glading won the Slotstox Foxhall Championship for a sixth time following 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013.
Paul became the third driver to win the Slotstox Foxhall Championship on five or more occasions following ten-time champion Noel Whinney (1989, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2015 and 2017) and nine-time champion Mark West (2004, 2008, 2012 plus the previous six-seasons 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023).

There were further Parker family championship wins:
Jack’s mum Sharon won the Slot-Bangers Foxhall Dash for Cash Championship (last held in 2022) and was part of ‘Team Stitch’ that won the Slot-Bangers Foxhall Team Championship (last held in 2015 as Adults v Juniors) with the Bater duo of Grandad Robin and Grandaugher Darcie.
Lexi won the Slotstox Under 18’s Championship and the Slotstox Foxhall ‘Junior’ Points Championship held over 5 rounds.
Lexi became the second Parker to win each of the Slotstox Under 18’s Championship and the Slotstox Foxhall ‘Junior’ Points Championship with Jack having won the Slotstox Under 18’s Championship four-season-in-a-row 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019; and the Slotstox Foxhall ‘Junior’ Points Championship two-season-in-a-row 2017 and 2018.
This meant Lexi was the second driver after Jack to win the Slotstox Under 18’s Championship and the Slotstox Foxhall ‘Junior’ Points Championship in the same season.

Darcie won a Slot-Bangers Championship treble, winning the Slot-Bangers Foxhall Points Championship and the Slot-Bangers Foxhall ‘Junior’ Points Championship in addition to the Slot-Bangers Team Championship.
This meant Darcie became the second junior to win both the Foxhall Points and the Foxhall ‘Junior’ Points Championships in the same formulae in the same season following Jack winning both Slotstox Foxhall Points and Foxhall Slotstox ‘Junior’ Points Championship in 2017.

Lyndon Stewart won the Slot-Saloons Junior Foxhall Points Championship and was also highest scoring junior during the heats at the Slotstox World Champioship.

Mark West won the Slot-Saloons Foxhall Points Championship for the twelfth season-in-a-row and seventeenth time in total; and fourtheen in fifthteen seasons; having also won in 2000, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
There was another West family championship win, as Mark’s son Alfie defended the Slot-Saloon and Caravan Foxhall Championship.
Alfie became the fourth driver to win the Slot-Saloons/Slot-Bangers and Caravans Foxhall Championship on two or more occasions following four-time champion Carl Brett (2011, 2015, 2021 and 2022) and fellow two-time champion Mark Banham (1999 and 2004).
This meant Alfie became the second driver to defend the Slot-Saloons/Slot-Bangers and Caravans Foxhall Championship following Carl.

After months of planning by Paul and Sharon, the inaugural Jim Glading Memorial meeting was held on 20th April held at the Rushmere Hub (next door to the Rushmere Village Hall). A number of former members were in attendance, and it was lovely to see so many faces, Jim would have loved it!
With Jim’s son Paul being eliminated in the semi-finals, it was an appropriate 1-2 in the final with long time friend Mark West winning and Jack the runner-up.
Wisbech Fen Tigers Slotstox Club driver Jamie Campbell was top junior whilst former racer Aaron Leek won the B Final.
With a raffle, kind cash donations, a whisky game (Jim’s favourite tipple) being donated by Richard Hampshire and Nicole, plus an anonymous payment of the hall rental, a total of £621.50 was donated to the St Elizabeth Hospice (Jim chosen charity) in Jim’s name.
